Regimental Workshops
The REME TA helps to provide essential support needed by the Regular Army in its task of defending the country and carrying out its commitment to NATO.
The REME are responsible for maintaining the serviceability of all of the Army's electrical and mechanical equipment, from Motorbikes to Trucks.
After an initial recruit course, volunteers learn to adapt their skills to military equipment and a military environment.
Within REME TA you will find opportunities to develop your own trade skills and you can be taught new techniques on new equipment at the Army's top engineering school.
Our frontline repair and recovery role requires soldiers to be fully trained which also includes basic military skills such as weapons handling, fieldcraft and tactics. In addition, there are opportunities for sport and adventurous training
