Defence Sixth Form College (DSFC)

Welbeck College is one of the UK's top sixth form colleges, admitting students with a career ambition to join The Army, The Royal Navy, and The Royal Air Force, or to become Ministry of Defence Civil Service Engineers.

 

The Defence Technical Undergraduate Scheme (DTUS)

After successfully completing two years study at Welbeck, you will go to read for a degree at one of five reputable universities throughout the UK via the Defence Technical Undergraduate Scheme (DTUS).

Sixth Form Scholarship

The Sixth Form Scholarship gives students £1,500 per year during two years of A level or Scottish Higher studies, plus the opportunity to go on to university with an undergraduate financial award.

A Sixth Form Scholarship also guarantees a student acceptance into Sandhurst after school or university.

The Undergraduate Bursary

A student awarded an Army Undergraduate Bursary will remain a civilian throughout university and receive a grant of #1,000 per year as well as enjoying paid training during university vacations.

As well as the £1,000 you'll be paid each year, you'll also be awarded £3,000 on completion of Sandhurst training.

In-Service Degrees

If you are a non-graduate upon entry to Sandhurst The Royal Logistic Corps offers selected officers the opportunity to study for a technical degree at one of five reputable universities throughout the UK, whilst being paid as an officer and receiving funding for tuition fees and expenses.

This opportunity is available to officers after completing their first tour as a Troop Commander.
