Skills for the army and for life

Skills taught: Bricklaying, carpentry, handling JCBs, and all terrain vehicles and working with sensitive stores. You'll be In big demand in the army, and set up for life should you choose to leave.
As a Pioneer you'll join a proud family regiment of men and women who do just about any job, from preparing and guarding defensive positions and handling sensitive stores such as fuel and ammunition, to bricklaying and carpentry. You'll also be trained on a variety of all-terrain vehicles.
You'll need to be fit, robust, hard working and a team player. We'll train you to deliver results in any situation. Longer term you'll become an expert in leadership and all aspects of military defence and protection.
Pioneer is one of the most sought after trades in the British Army, with an enormous range of skills that are in big demand. Becoming a Pioneer will set you up for life. You'll also make the best mates you can imagine - always being there for each other and getting the job done - whatever it takes.
