Driver/Communications Specialists are soldiers who are technical specialists that everybody relies on. You will be trained to set up and use high-tech radio equipment in any conditions, including telephones, landlines and other communications equipment to deliver vital messages supporting commanders across the battle zone.

This job is crucial to delivering logistic excellence. You'll be among the first soldiers in to a new location, and you'll work closely with officers to get safe, secure, reliable communications in any weather or conditions.

It's your job to make sure commanders can speak to each other at any time so you need to be quick thinking and we'll train you to solve technical problems quickly and effectively.

You'll learn to maintain the equipment, and fix kit so that communications are in place for as long as the operation or exercise lasts. Whether you're in the desert or on the prairies of Canada, you'll be essential to keeping your team safe and achieving the mission.
