Whether it's kayaking, climbing, mountain walking, mountain biking, sailing, skiing, parachuting, windsurfing, and scuba diving - in the RLC there is something for everyone.

In the RLC you'll have plenty of opportunities to get involved and gain extra adventurous training qualifications. If you really get on well, and enjoy this aspect of the job, you can even become an adventurous training instructor.

'The RLC is currently very committed around the world but is always keen to reward soldiers for their hard work by encouraging them to take part in adventurous training and expeditions. There are still plenty of opportunities to get away, whether it is to compete or to learn a new sport and gain some qualifications.' Captain Hazel Boxen
