124 (TEE) Recovery Company
124 (TEE) Recovery Company provides trained soldiers, either as individuals or as a team, to support the Army on exercises and operations in the UK and abroad. The company specializes in the recovery of military vehicles, on-and off-road, using the Army's specialist recovery vehicles.
As well as the Recovery Mechanics directly involved in this task, there is also a need for mechanics, electricians and metalsmiths to carry out repairs to vehicles under arduous conditions; armourers to maintain the variety of weapons held by the Company; logistics staff to manage and account for military spares and stores; chefs to provide combat catering support and administrators (including clerical and finance staff) to provide effective operational staff support. Those with leadership ability have the opportunity to be promoted into positions of authority as non-commissioned officers (NCOs) or as officers, holding the Queen's commission following training at the world famous Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
