In addition to gaining the qualification of trained soldier status, we will bring out your command, leadership and communication skills, while managing your chosen Military Trade Training through a progressive career path. There are many opportunities for REME Reserve to serve with their Regular Army colleagues on operations and exercises across the globe. There are annual opportunities to deploy on exercise to Germany, Belize, Kenya, Canada and Cyprus.

Men and women of the REME Reserve have served on operations and exercises all over the world including Bosnia, Kosovo, Cyprus, Kenya, Iraq, Germany and more recently Afghanistan. Operations in Afghanistan have ended, but there are many other opportunities for REME Reserve to serve with their Regular Army counterparts.
