General Sir Nick Parker.The Standing Joint Commander for Op OLYMPIC GUARDIAN Gen Sir Nick Parker speaks about how the British military will be assisting the civil authorities in providing security for the Games.

From on board HMS Ocean, which will be berthed at Greenwich for the duration of the event, Gen Parker explains why the Navy's largest warship is needed to protect the airspace over the Olympic village.

He also outlines what other military assets are being deployed to protect London from any threat of terrorist attack over the summer months.
