Earlier in the year the band was in Canada where it was performing in the Quebec Festival of International Military Music and Tattoo.

The band were one of 25 bands taking part from 15 different countries.

The Band also took the opportunity to undertake some Adventurous Training in the stunning locations in Canada some 2,500 miles further on in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.  The band members took the opportunity to try:

About half way through the tour of Canada the Band arrived at Calgary and performed at the world famous 'Masters Show Jumping Event' at Spruce Meadows.  After that the Band headed on to the British Army Training Unit Sutfield (BATUS) to supply musical support to the soldiers in location and the local community who support military activity in that area.

The band has also visited Jordan this year in support of the Defence Attache.
