Did you know the Corps of Army Music recruits string players?

The band are always looking for talented musicians to join its numbers.

If this band has no vacancies then there may be a place for your talents in another of the 22 Regular Bands within the Corps.

There are a further 5 Foot Guards Bands, based in central London, 2 Mounted Bands and the Royal Artillery Band all based in or around London.

 

 

 

 

 

It can be very difficult to make a professional career in music:

  • Getting on a course
  • Grants and money
  • Getting regular paid work or salaried job post college
  • A career as a soldier in the Army with your main employment as a musician is therefore worth thinking about.
