The Band today has 35 musicians and is able to perform in many formats. 

The Band is in constant demand to perform concerts all over the country, often working with other bands, choirs and other musical groups. 

 

The Band also performs as a marching band as well as the expected mounted band.

The Band has a number of talented ensembles which cover almost any situation or event that requires musical support beyond a marching, concert or mounted band. The ensembles available are:

• Fanfare Trumpets - The Trumpeters of The Household Cavalry play at many prestigious and high powered engagements in and around London, such as State Opening of Parliament and recently the Queen's Golden Jubilee Celebrations at St Pauls Cathedral. The Team can consist of between one and twelve players and can add a touch of ceremony and finesse to any occasion.
• Brass Quintet - Ideally suited to Dinners and other such events as background music or indeed  if your budget or space is limited.
• Dance Band - The Band has a fantastic Big Band recreating the swing and Jazz of the past and some of the more modern repertoire.
• Dance Quartet - A Jazz Combo of 4 players ideally suited to any event.
