Regimental Mascot

Irish Guards Regimental Mascot

The Regimental Mascot is an Irish Wolfhound.  Since the formation of the regiment these dogs have been named after the High Kings and Legendary Chieftains of Ireland.  The mascot is a firm favourite of both the regiment and the public.  It leads the battalion on all major parades and is cared for by a member of the Corps of Drums.
