The Band of the Army Air Corps

The Band of the Army Air Corps was formed in 1993 from the former Royal Artillery Alanbrooke Band. The band is now located in Colchester Garrison.

What we do

In April 2014, the Band of the Army Air Corps reformed as a specialist contemporary band. The new capability brings a new and exciting side to military bands by performing popular music styles more inline with the tastes of the Army's younger soldiers and officers.

By doing this, the band has been able to reach a much wider audience; both military and civilian alike, enjoying successful receptions around the UK and abroad. Recent tours have included Switzerland and Abu Dhabi, with the band due to deploy later this year, offering the opportunity to perform to troops on operations.
