The Band is located at Windsor, making it ideally located for events in or around the capital but it is not uncommon for the band to travel around the world.
It is one of only two mounted bands remaining in the British Army.

Massed Bands and Corps of Drums of the Household Division, supported by The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery and the Band and Bugles of the Rifles will present an evening of military music on Horse Guards, Whitehall, Central London.

The Corps of Army Music is once again running a Summer Academy for musicians. The event will be held at the Royal Miltiary School of Music, near Twickenham from 4 - 10 August 2013.
