Lt Clive Lewis - National Black Role Model
MOG(V) Officer, Lt Clive Lewis recently commanded a Combat Camera Team in Afghanistan. Just before deploying, he was selected as a National Black Role Model.
Clive Lewis, who is a BBC TV reporter and presenter as well as a Territorial Army Officer said##"I know only too well how difficult it can be to make your way as a black man through the pitfalls that life throws up in front of you. Fortunately I had a father to help and guide me. Not everybody is as fortunate and maybe that's where I can help."
Clive has been selected as one of twenty role models from across the UK among others such as top business men, firefighters and lawyers. The individuals chosen form the first national group of its kind - to help raise the aspirations and attainment of black boys.
