Sport & AdventurousTraining

Sport and Adventure Training (AT) are a very important part of life in the Army and our Regiment. It is no coincidence that our Regiment have been the top Army Reserve Regiment in the 102 Logistic Brigade Sports Competition for the last two years in a row!

Sport and AdventureTraining are very important for developing fitness and teamwork, as well as developing aspects of character such as courage, determination and leadership. That’s why we place such emphasis on these activities. If you haven’t done much of these before, don’t worry; this is often the case before people join the Army. If you are quite good at a sport, we will help you reach the highest levels that you can. We currently have one of our female soldiers who plays football for the Army team and one of our males who plays for the RLC team.

Not only do we offer the chance to do these amazing activities and get paid, if you like them and are good at them, you can go on and gain instructional or coaching qualifications as well. Below is a snapshot of some of the activities that the soldiers of our Regiment have taken part in during the last 12 months, we’ll be doing the same again next year:
