Human Resources, Administration and Finance are vital functions in the overall effectiveness of the Army.

Wherever the Army is in the world, and whatever the situation, you will be helping to deliver vital support functions and supporting the Army#s most powerful weapon - its soldiers and officers - which total almost 110,000.

You will be a Military Clerk in the Adjutant General#s Corps, trained and professionally developed for:

  • Human Resources and Personnel Support

  • Business Administration

  • Payroll Management

  • Finance and Accounting

Job roles include:

  • Documents Supervisor: Responsible for managing information files and making sure they are accurate and up-to-date.

  • Assistant Staff Support Assistant: Working with Human Resources, Assistants provide first-class administrative support to soldiers and their families.

  • Management Accountant: Military Management Accountants are responsible for analysing the way the Army works to ensure it operates at optimum efficiency.

  • Military Clerks: Working alongside every type of Army unit, as well as in Military headquarters, worldwide. Many Military Clerks are attached to British Embassies and High Commissions around the globe, including places like Jamaica, Mexico City and New York.
