LEADERSHIP

The Army needs good leadership to be successful, as our objectives can only be achieved when we get the best from our teams. This requires the ability to motivate yourself, inspire others and make tough decisions efficiently. When you sign up to become an Army Officer, we'll help you develop your leadership and management skills, leaving you fully prepared to take on the challenge of leading soldiers in real-life situations.

ARMY LEADERSHIP

Find out what leadership means in the Army, as Officers describe their training, the skills required and the situations in which they were tested.

Officers set leadership standard by striving to achieve the best they can be whilst being true to their principles and developing key attributes.

Listen to Officers explain some of the key attributes that make a good leader, as well as how the Army supports you to become one.

Officers explain how leadership doesn’t necessarily come naturally, but that the Army helps develops your potential through its unique opportunities.

Officers discuss what they do for their team, their day to day responsibilities and how they fulfil their team’s professional and personal needs.

The Army continually develops their Officers, so the selection process looks for someone’s potential and their ability to inspire soldiers.
