PREPARING FOR SELECTION

The selection process checks that you’re ready to start Army training. It tests your ability to work as part of a team, your mental skills and your physical fitness. It’s demanding, but if you prepare well, you’ll improve your chance of passing. Use this section to find out what happens at the selection centre and try out some practice tests.

Fitness is one of a soldier’s key weapons. Once you’re in the Army, training will help to improve then keep you fit, but you will need a good standard of fitness to pass selection.
