Live Firing in Kenya

Our training is realistic and demanding.  We need to be prepared for anything we might face on Operations and so in 2007 we conducted a Battle Group exercise in Kenya.

Watch a short video showing the harsh conditions - but the fun we had there training for our 2008 tour to Afghanistan.

Antecedant Marches

You can watch the Bugles, Pipes and Drums play the Regimental marches of our antecedant (old) Regiments, who came to make up the Royal Irish Regiment today.

Our Pipers regularly try and compete - so if you are musical then why not come and play in our Bugles, Pipes and Drums.  Or would you like to learn?
