CHOSEN MAN 2 (5 Days)
Chosen Man 2 is designed for those young people who have a little more time to get a better feel for Army life. The courses are run every 2 months at one of our 3 Mainland UK Battalion bases - Bulford, Chepstow and Edinburgh. Again it costs you nothing and commits you to nothing whatsoever. You'll be accommodated and fed free of charge and will get to see what being a Rifleman is really all about. Find out why we don't need to shout and bark orders at our soldiers and enjoy a social time with sports and other activities thrown in. Get a taste of what it's like to be a Rifleman and also providing you with hints and tips on how to fly through the Army selection board. At the end of it all you'll be taken to watch a Platoon of Riflemen complete their training and march off the square at The Infantry Training Centre in Catterick. They'll also be available to answer any questions you have about the training. We're not as old fashioned as you think. Try it, you might be surprised...
