6 SCOTS
52nd Lowland, 6th Battalion the Royal Regiment of Scotland (6 SCOTS) are the Territorial Army Infantry for the south of Scotland.
The Battalion's Headquarters are in Glasgow and there are detachments in Ayr, Bathgate, Dumfries, Edinburgh, Galashiels and Motherwell.
For most of us, the Army is a second job. But as Reservists we have a real job to carry out, and there are soldiers serving on operations wherever the Regular Army needs our help. We are resourced and equipped to the same levels as the rest of the Army and are trained to the very highest standards.
Territorial and Reserves
