4 SCOTS
The Highlanders, 4th Battalion the Royal Regiment of Scotland (4 SCOTS) are based near Fallingbostel in Germany. It is an Armoured Infantry Battalion equipped with the Warrior Infantry fighting vehicle.
4 SCOTS have recently served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. The Battalion was split such that a Company was in Afghanistan supporting 16 Air Assault Brigade, serving alongside both 2 SCOTS and 5 SCOTS, while the rest of the Battalion was in Iraq.
