2 SCOTS
The Royal Highland Fusiliers, 2nd Battalion the Royal Regiment of Scotland (2 SCOTS) is based at Glencorse Barracks in Edinburgh. It is a Light Role Infantry Battalion.
2 SCOTS is currently the standby lead element of the Army. The Battalion has recently returned from Afghanistan after serving as part of 16 Air Assualt Brigade alongside 5 SCOTS, 4 SCOTS and the Parachute Regiment.
