1 SCOTS

The Royal Scots Borderers, 1st Battalion the Royal Regiment of Scotland (1 SCOTS) is based at Dreghorn Barracks in Edinburgh.

 
The Battalion returned from Operations in Iraq in early 2008, then deployed to Kenya to conduct all arms collective training in Autumn 2009. It is now preparing to deploy to Afghanistan in Spring 2010.
