The Royal Irish Regiment seeks to recruit soldiers of Irish origin or background to serve in the 1st Battalion. We will accept suitable recruits from across the whole of Ireland, Great Britain and Commonwealth Countries. Service in our Worldwide, 1st Battalion will mean you are liable to serve anywhere in the world where UK forces are deployed.
