C Company

C Company, 3PWRR is the local Army Reserve Infantry Unit in the Medway Area of Kent. They are based in Fort Clarence in Rochester.

The training undertaking by the Company is both challenging and rewarding and where essential skills are taught which will help to develop the individual both military and in your civilian career. The Company like the other Rifle Companies across the Battalion has been equipped with the latest issue of kit and equipment which brings it in-line with its Regular Army counterparts.

The Company currently is scaled as a Rifle Company but will soon establish an Assault Pioneer Platoon. This is a Specialist Platoon consisting of highly trained men who are able to provide support to the Battalion in specialist fields such as mine laying and clearance and demolitions.

Overseas deployment

C Company encourages all its members to take an active role in all sports and physical activities. They are also able to provide guidance and training to reach and then maintain a high level of physical fitness.

Due to the close ties formed recently with the paired Battalion, 1 Royal Anglian, the opportunity for overseas deployment, both operational and routine training is rapidly increasing.
