Joining the Territorial Army (TA) could be the best decision you ever make. It's also a big one, so you're bound to have lots of questions.

If you're interested in joining us, follow these steps:

Step 1:
Fill in the contact form or give us a call to let us know that you're interested in joining. This is also the perfect opportunity to ask any questions you may have about us, or the recruitment process.

Step 2:
Visit us. You'll get to chat to the recruiting team, watch a DVD about the TA and then start the recruiting procedure. This consists of the following:

• Initial Interview
  This will help us to assess your suitability for the TA and give you the chance to ask any questions you may have. You will also be asked about your fitness and fill in a medical questionnaire.
• TA Selection
  You will be assessed on your fitness and have a medical before you can start training. The fitness test involves completing a 1½ mile run within 15 minutes.
• Attestation
  You will swear an oath of allegiance to the Queen. This is the final stage of the recruiting procedure, after which you then become a member of the TA.

Step 3:
Start your training, which consists of 9 weekends followed by a 2 week Combat Infantryman's Course.
