WANT TO FIND OUT WHAT IT IS LIKE TO BE A YORKSHIRE WARRIOR?

Spend a day finding out about life in the Yorkshire Regiment. This could be either a 1 Day Insight Course or a 5 day residential course, just remember there are no commitments at the end of the course and there are no course fee's so everything is provided free of charge!

YORKSHIRE WARRIOR 1 (1 Day Course)
This insight course is run every month by our own Yorkshire Regiment soldiers in the north of England. The aim of this course is to allow you to participate in several of the activities that a Yorkshire Regiment soldier would carry out. We will also try and dismiss any apprehensions you might have about joining up. This is a no commitment course and there are no costs, so what have you got to lose! For more information Click Here.

YORKSHIRE WARRIOR 2 (5 Day Course)
This course is designed for those young adults who want to spend time with us and get a better feel for Army life. The courses are run every month or so and again it costs you nothing and without any commitments whatsoever. You'll be accommodated and fed free of charge and get a taste of what it's like to be an Infantry Soldier. We will explain what is expected of you and how to qualify for a pass on the Army selection board. If you have a spare week why not give it a try! For more information Click Here.

ARMY INSIGHT COURSE (5 Day Course)
The Army Insight Course is very similar to the Yorkshire Warrior 2 Course the only difference is that females may attend the course. This course is for students at college on Public Services or Uniformed Service course's and can be booked by their course tutor.

HOW DO I GET ON THE YORKSHIRE WARRIOR COURSE
To get on a Yorkshire Warrior 1 or 2 Course you will have to visit an Army Careers Office and speak to one of our Yorkshire Regiment Recruiters, they will take your details and reserve you a place on the next available course. A list of all your local Careers Offices can be found here.
