The Regiment has a number of fine museums across the North West of England.
The Duke of Lancaster's Regiment traces its heritage back more than 330 years through its predecessor regiments, the King's Own Royal Border Regiment, the King's Regiment and the Queen's Lancashire Regiment.

The King's Regiment Museum
Closed 4th June 2006 for major refurbishment, re-opening in the new Museum of Liverpool in 2010. Part of the Regimental archive remains available in the Archive Section of the Maritime Museum at the Albert Dock Liverpool, open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.

The Liverpool Scottish Regimental Museum
Closed awaiting resiting. The archive is available in the City Office of the Duke of Lancaster's Regiment in Liverpool. To make an appointment to visit please telephone during normal working hours.
