Move of Service Personnel and Families to Nepal

Please read the booklets in the documents panel which will give you useful information to ensure that your transition to Nepal runs smoothly.

Important. The Medical Screening questionnaire is to be completed and sent back to the CMP BGN at least 1 month prior to assignment date.

During your first few days here, you should receive briefings about life in BGN and other important subjects such as medical issues and emergency procedures.

Much of the information given in the briefings is contained in the attached booklets, but the briefing process itself is important so that you have a chance to discuss any issues and meet key staff; to that end spouses are encouraged to attend all the briefings.

If you have children accompanying you, who are old enough to travel around the city alone, they are also encouraged to attend the briefings.

The Resettlement Briefing pack contains information for Gurkha personnel who wish to settle in Nepal after discharge.

We hope the information provided is as helpful as possible, however if you feel that something has been left out or is outdated please inform SAG1 who will update/add as necessary.
