We feel we understand more of what is happening in Afghanistan and other trouble spots in the world. The Army Presentation Team present a much more enlightening picture than that we receive from listening to news bulletins.
City Mayor

I was variously moved and impressed by the presentation. It considerably increased my knowledge of what the Army does.
Quaker Movement Representative

I confess that I did not know much about the Army but the presentation itself was so informative and I left feeling I had indeed learned something new that evening. It was also very refreshing to speak to people who clearly love their jobs and their role in the Army. It is something to be truly proud of!
Human Rights Campaigner

The evening proved to be most beneficial and I shall certainly promote further awareness of the Army.
Community Leader

There can be no doubt that such presentations raise the esteem of our Armed Services against a difficult backdrop of fighting in Afghanistan. I hope the evening will result in additional recruitment for the Army and a ready acknowledgement of the wider opinion-formers that we should give our brave and committed servicemen and women our unconditional support.
County Council Chairman

It was a very effective event which absolutely achieved your aim of making a meaningful connection with local employers and community leaders.
Manager, Ministry of Justice

It was so pleasant to be able to talk to serving officers on an informal basis and without fail any question we asked was answered fully.
Councillor

The concluding hospitality over refreshments gave opportunities to reflect with others on what we had learned earlier.
Lord Dean of Guild

May I say how much we enjoyed talking with your team after the presentation.
High Sheriff

Your presentation was most informative and we both enjoyed it and will be better prepared when our students make enquiries about the Army - which they do!
Senior University Lecturer

I would like to thank you for your excellent and thought-provoking presentation. We would be pleased to offer whatever support we can to ex-Army personnel in our capacity as a local employer.
NHS Hospital Director

We would like to compliment the Team on their very pro-active presentation. It has changed our perspective on how invaluable the Armed Forces are to this country.
Businesswoman

The informal discussions with soldiers both before and after the formal presentation were most revealing. Their positive attitudes to overseas deployment were very refreshing after some of the doom and gloom reports coming from the UK media.
Sports Club President

The evening was a wonderful occasion, well organised and managed, and sent very positive messages about the current successes of the Armed Forces. I made numerous contacts with Recruiters who will hopefully contact me at my college to organise a visit to our Sixth Form.
College Senior Tutor

From my perspective it was very interesting to hear the other side of the debate, especially as we only see events unfold through the eyes of a journalist.
PR Director

I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to learn more about the Service and its role in the world, UK and the community. Judging by the number of attendees I trust you will consider last night a tremendous success.
High Sheriff

I commend you and the team for an excellent evening, which was up to the high standard that one expects from today's Army.
Businessman

I thoroughly appreciated the professionalism of last night's presentation. More importantly, it opened my eyes to the comprehensive agenda being fulfilled by the Army in these difficult times and I shall do my best to propagate your message in my local community.
Marketing Manager

We are now planning a way in which we can give more explicit recognition to the commitment of our staff who are working with the TA.
NHS Chairman

I left feeling very impressed and proud of the British Army. I guess this information needs to be better circulated among the public, particularly British ethnic communities.

It has motivated me, as an individual and as a Borough Councillor, to do more for our soldiers.
Borough Councillor

It was important to be shown the positive things that are happening in Afghanistan as a result of the Army's presence. It came as a pleasant surprise that they are doing so much to improve health, education and infrastructure.

I tended to question why our Army personnel were present in places like Afghanistan, after reading newspapers and watching the news reports on TV. Having attended the presentation...  it has altered my opinion on our presence in these regions and I am in favour of our troops assisting in stabilising and securing Afghanistan's future.
