Rhod Gilbert's Work Experience
Rhod Gilbert is a Welsh stand-up comedian who presents his own show on BBC Radio Wales, and who also features in a BBC One Wales TV series called Rhod Gilbert's Work Experience.
Rhod tries out a different job in each programme, the professions varying from week to week.
The series finished in February but BBC Two has announced that on Tuesday 30 March at 10pm it will be repeating the final programme across the whole of the UK.
The programme being reshown sees Rhod go to the Infantry Battle School, Brecon, to train on a Platoon Sergeant's Battle Course.
He spends three days undergoing the same training as British soldiers. He eats, sleeps and trains as a Junior Private, on one of the toughest courses the British Army offers. He performs duties ranging from reconnaissance missions in total darkness, sentry duty at an improvised base, taking part in realistic attacks against a simulated enemy and treating casualties in the heat of battle...
