For Young People
There are three Student Presentation Teams, each made up of an Officer and soldier with recent operational experience. Their task is to inform young people about the Army and engage with schools, colleges and other youth organisations. They also support the Army and Combined Cadet Forces and the University Officer Training Corps.
They do not set out to recruit, but seek to inform the next generation of employers and workers about the Army and its place within the community as well as how the Army is funded, equipped and employed by the government. They also focus on our people; how we train, develop and look after them, and what they have to offer society when they choose to leave. We support the public service and citizenship elements of the national curriculum. All our team members are CRB checked.
The Teams deliver a 35 minute presentation, and then host a frank and honest question and answer session. This is the chance for the audience to quiz the team on life in the Army and on operations.
Educational establishments can make a request for a presentation through their Army Careers Advisor, or direct to the Army Presentation Group by ringing 01276 417000 - or by completing the Contact Us page.
