Trooping the Colour 2010

The Queen's Birthday Parade will be held on Saturday 12th June 2010 on Horse Guards Parade when The Colour will be Trooped by 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards in the presence of Her Majesty.

Three companies of the 1st Battalion, The Grenadier Guards will be parading and the trooping will be performed by The Queen's Company.

In addition Nijmegen Company, The Grenadier Guards, No 7 Company, The Coldstream Guards, and F Company, The Scots Guards will be on parade together with The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment and the Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery. The 1st Battalion Irish Guards will provide street-liners.

The Reviews will be held on the two Saturdays prior to the parade:

Major General W G Cubbitt, CBE, General Officer Commanding London District and Major General Commanding the Household Division, will take the salute at the Major General's Review on Saturday 29 May 2010.

His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, Colonel Grenadiers Guards will take the salute at the Colonel’s Review on Saturday 5th June 2010.

Those wishing to attend one of the parades, should apply for tickets, stating which one, before the end of February and include a stamped, self-addressed envelope for acknowledgement.

As the demand for tickets is great, a ballot is held in mid-March. Only successful applicants will be notified and receiving up to a maximum of three tickets for the actual parade - this restriction does not apply to the Reviews. Children must be in possession of a ticket. There are limited wheelchair spaces for all three parades. Separate applications are required for this facility.

Colonel's Review: £10.00
Queen's Birthday Parade: £25.00

No refund can be given if the event is cancelled for reasons beyond the control of the organiser.


Facility Note:

Photographic, video and film positions will be available for The Colonel's Review on 5 June 2010 at a cost of £50 per person and for Trooping the Colour on 12 June 2010 at a cost of £100 per person. Cheques to be made payable to 'HMG 2514' No refund can be given if the event is cancelled for reasons beyond the control of the organiser. Journalists' positions are also available for both dates at no cost but only one pass per newspaper or agency will be allocated. No facilities will be available on 29 May 2010 except for reconnaissance.
