The Army Photographic Competition aims to promote the high quality photography and video captured across the Army.

Army Photographic Competition 2015

The Army Photographic Competition 2015 is open and this year changes to the rules make it even easier to enter.

Judges will be looking for high quality photographs and video, which can be used to promote the Army’s work and maintain the strong reputation it has among the general public.

The competition is open to all Regular Army and Army Reserve personnel, cadets of the Combined Cadet Force (CCF), Army Cadet Force (ACF), University Officer Training Corps (UOTC Army) and Ministry of Defence civilians who work directly for the Army.

Entries are invited from professional and amateur photographers for images and video taken between 05 Sept 14 and 2 Oct 15, to be submitted by the closing date of 2 Oct 15.

Ten years in Helmand

New for 2015 is a category reflecting ten years of capturing photographs and video in Helmand Province, and is open to professional Army and ex-Army photographers and professional MOD civilian photographers who served on Operation Herrick in Afghanistan (2005 - 2015).
