Jackal is a high mobility weapons platform, with a unique air-bag suspension system allowing rapid movement across varying terrain.

Used for reconnaissance, rapid assault, fire support and convoy protection the Jackal has the capacity to support itself and its crew over 800km. It has a maximum speed of 80mph (129km/h) on roads and weighs seven tonnes.

Jackal has a General Purpose Machine Gun (GPMG SF) as crew protection and can carry either Heavy Machine Gun (HMG) or Grenade Machine Gun (GMG) as the main weapon system in the fire support role.

Late in 2009 Jackal 2 will enter frontline service. It will provide enhanced levels of crew protection, reliability, manoeuvrabiity and capacity. To watch the Jackal 2 in action follow the link in the right-hand panel. 


Coyote

Coyote is based on a 6x6 derivative of the Jackal and will support our go-anywhere, high mobility Jackals across harsh terrain.
