Assault boats & landing craft

The Army has its own fleet of ships and landing craft to deliver troops, equipment and supplies. Smaller boats are used to patrol harbours, rivers and lakes and help with bridge-building and ferrying operations.

These smaller boats, including the rigid raider and combat support boat, are used to patrol harbours, rivers and lakes and assist in bridge-building and ferrying ops.

The Ramped Landing Craft Logistic is used for amphibious operations and is designed to deliver men and material on to beaches.
