Corporal Hazel Colville

Corporal Hazel Colville enlisted into the Corps of Army Music in 2007 as a violinist and flautist.

Following Basic Training at Pirbright and Trade Training at the Royal Military School of Music, Kneller Hall, Corporal Colville joined the Band of the Scots Guards.  Upon joining the band a CD recording and concert tour of Scotland were completed, to raise money for the Colonel's Fund Scots Guards.  Corporal Colville has performed many times in the Queen’s Birthday Parade and Remembrance service at the Cenotaph as well as other engagements including investitures at Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle and Holyrood Palace and State banquets for foreign dignitaries such as President Obama.

In 2010, Corporal Colville deployed to Afghanistan in her secondary role as a driver.

Corporal Colville joined the Armed Forces Diversity Engagement Team in January 2017.
