Chief Petty Officer Ann Miller-McCaffrey

Ann is a Chief Petty Officer in the Royal Naval Reserves who has served in the UK, Gibraltar and Norway.

CPO Ann Miller-McCaffrey joined the Education Branch of the Women’s Royal Naval Service (WRNS) in 1987. She embraced the changes of merging with the Royal Navy and has served with the Fleet Air Arm, Royal Marines, deployed on board HMS ROEBUCK and HMS SOMERSET and has worked in many high profile Tri-Service environments including RNC Greenwich and MOD.

On leaving the Royal Navy she joined the Royal Naval Reserves to redesign the Phase 1 Training Pipeline as an Initial Naval Training Instructor.

With a passion for promoting and raising awareness of diversity she was assigned to the Armed Forces Diversity Engagement Team in January 2017.

She has represented the Royal Navy at both football and hockey, but now prefers a more gentle approach to fitness.
