Mr Ellis

Mr Dick EllisMr Richard (Dick) Ellis joined the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) in 1974 as an Apprentice Aircraft Technician for  Airframes and Engines. He maintained Scout, Gazelle and Lynx rotary aircraft in the United Kingdom, Germany and the Falkland Islands until the completion of his military career in 1998.

Following retirement from the REME Mr Ellis became an inspector for a company that manufactured various aircraft components for Airbus, Westlands and Rolls Royce.

He joined Cobham Aviation Services as a technician in 2002, working on Lynx and Gazelle rotary aircraft and is now employed as an inspector for the Historic Aircraft Flight, based at Middle Wallop.
