676 Squadron Army Air Corps

Overview

The primary role of 676 Squadron Army Air Corps is to look after the administration and well being of all Phase Two Army Air Corps trainees at the Army Aviation Centre. The Squadron provides a base from which they will be looked after and mentored. The motto on the badge is 'Occasio Et Successus' translated as Opportunity and Success.

Squadron History

On 1st July 2004, 676 Squadron Army Air Corps was formed and became part of 2 (Training) Regiment, providing the training support for all Phase Two AAC groundcrew based within the School of Army Aviation, the former name of the establishment. The Regiment currently provides the command and logistical support to the Army Aviation Centre.

Squadron Badge

The Squadron badge was designed in 2004 and the fox was chosen as the emblem in order to reflect the character of some trainees, who could be of a mischievous nature.

Squadron motto - 'Occasio et successus' or 'Opportunity and success'.
