Tactical Unmanned Air Vehicle (TUAV)
Our soldiers are trained to fly the cutting edge Tactical Unmanned Air Vehicle (TUAV), Watchkeeper. We are the British Army's eye in the sky and a unique unit. The TUAV has a deep battlefield surveillance capability, which can operate for 14 hours with a reach up to 150km. TUAV beams back real time video by day and night. Our exceptionally specialised unit trains Royal Artillery soldiers to plan and fly missions, process live video into intelligence, and maintain the complex equipment. Our soldiers are serving in both Afghanistan and Iraq.

Based in Larkhill, 32 Regiment recruit from Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and the Home Counties but the unique challenges and rewards of being a Gunner TUAV Operator also attracts volunteers from all over the UK.
