Operations
The Regiment is currently conducting its Mission Specific Training for Operations in Afghanistan. Part of this training has meant that we have re-trained our Gun detachments to use the L118 Light Gun that is currently in service in Afghanistan.
We will deploy in Autumn 2011 and return in the spring of 2012. We also have 2 Fire Support Teams (12 Men) who have deployed to Afghanistan on attachment with 29 Commando Regiment RA, they will serve there throughout the summer and return in the Autumn.
