Light Gun firing
AS90 firing in BATUS2008 will see the majority of the Regiment deploy on exercise to BATUS training area in Canada, supporting the Infantry and Armoured Regiments in preparation for operations in 2009. In 2009 two of the Regiment's gun batteries deploy to Iraq to provide Artillery support with AS90 guns. In 2009 the remainder of the Regiment deploy to Afghanistan, providing Observation Post teams to support operations in Helmand Province. The Regiment was last there in 2007.
