Welcome to the 212 (Highland) Battery web pages. The Battery is based in three locations: Arbroath, Kirkcaldy and Lerwick.

The Highland Battery is now the only Artillery unit north of the Forth. With a remarkable history, it is a great honour that the Battery is the only one remaining after over 230 years of unbroken service.

We recruit soldiers mainly from Angus, Fife and the Shetland Islands.  We train on a Wednesday night, between 7.30pm and 9.30pm, and usually two weekends a month.  Our TA Centres are also open Monday to Friday, between 9am and 4.30pm.
