RA Saddle Club
The RA Saddle Cub is a military and civilian stables aimed at providing equitation facilities for all ranks, dependants and civilians.  Mainly a hunting yard the club boasts great facilities including a large indoor school, lunge arena, and some 60 loose boxes for both RA Saddle club horses and private liveries.  A large amount of the boxes were refurbished in 2003 with top quality wood and metal rail loose boxes.  Being situated on the edge of the plain the club has access to some wonderful hacking and cross country training ground.  It is staffed by serving RA soldiers who are capable of teaching novice riders and coaching more advanced riders.  The saddle club also run many classes for children of differing ages and abilities in the evenings and at weekends.

RA Cross Country Course
The RA cross country course at Knighton Down is well known throughout the region as one of the best courses and grounds in this area of the country.  With fantastic going and beautiful scenery it remains popular for Cross Country, Hunter Trials and when available, training days.
The course is used at the start of each season by British Eventing for a ODE, providing a quality route and jumps of the highest standards for the following season.  The course is managed by the Royal Artillery Equestrian Committee, providing the ability for civilian clubs to use the course for holding there own events.  The course traditionally hosts the Army and Royal Artillery Hunter Trial (ARAHT) at the end of the season in October.  The ARAHT is well attended not only by Military riders but also civilian clubs and individuals.
