FAQs

1. What are the benefits of using Army resources in the classroom?

Army resources offer high quality, free materials, which are relevant to curriculum objectives. As such they provide an engaging alternative for subject delivery and debate with real life relevance to today’s students.

2. Are teachers expected to actively promote the Army to students?

No. The resources are free to use and are entirely voluntary. We have always been pleased at the popularity of our support for schools, but we recognise and hope that you will also choose to use materials that offer other perspectives on the Army today. We respect that both teachers and students should form their own opinions, and a balanced debate is part of this process.

3. Can interested students access the Army Careers Adviser information from home?

Yes. Students will be able to access the ACA profiles and general information on the website. They will not, however, be able to download any of the lesson materials, as this requires school registration.

4. How can I reassure concerned parents that this is not a recruitment drive?

Be confident in your own choice of resources. Show parents the materials you plan to use and the intended learning.
