Bursaries

The Army offers financial incentives and support to young people wanting a career in the Army after completing education.

• The Further Education Bursary/Award Scheme (FEBS) is available to students aged 16-32 in Further Education.
• The Sixth Form Scholarship provides support to parents whilst students study for their 'A’ levels/Highers.
• The Undergraduate Bursary provides financial support to students studying towards a degree.
• Welbeck Defence Sixth Form College educates students from all backgrounds to achieve their ambition to become an Officer in the Armed Services or the Civil Service.  Financial assistance is offered during your time both at Welbeck and then on to University.

ARMY FURTHER EDUCATION BURSARY (FEBS) RESOURCES AND MATERIALS

Mapping Your Future materials provide curriculum support for a range of FE courses.

Also supporting basic, key and functional skills, the modules provide a new approach to deliver existing units and provide real insight into Army life, skills and careers.  Using video footage and real life scenarios the modules provide an engaging approach to learning. All the resources are available to download from the Army In Education website. You can access the resources by searching the resources database by the course, or for FEBS Curriculum Support Materials.

The modules are linked to UK regional curricula, so you will be able to find versions of each module for England/Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Six modules are also available in Welsh language.
