Physiotherapist

A Physiotherapy Officer is a qualified physiotherapist who can be found providing rehabilitation for injured soldiers and civilians both on and off operations.

A Physiotherapy Officer can expect to deploy on operations fairly regularly, either to a field hospital or a forward operating base, and when not deployed on operations, might be found working in one of the many Ministry of Defence Hospital Units (MDHU), one of the Regional Rehabilitation Units (RRU) or the the highly publicised Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre (DMRC) Headley Court.

A Physiotherapy Officer must be imaginative and able to use their initiative when treating patients in difficult environments.

Approximately 60 candidates start the selection process annually for the 4-6 jobs available, making it highly competitive and ensuring that we recruit only the best.
